寇词:虚词,没有词义,不能单独使用

发音:看后面一个单词的音标开头

the:辅音,[e];元音[i]

a:辅音;an元音. an apple

不定寇词(a/an):只能修饰可数名词单数

 

用法

重复提到人物时:She is a tercher.

只有作时间状语时,才能表达"每一"的意思:A day = every day

I eat apple a day.

定寇词(the):特指的名词

用法

重复提及人物时:Where's the tercher.

形容词,副词最高级前:the best.

某些形容词和姓氏复数前,表示人或家庭:the old(老人),the Chens(陈家或陈夫妇)

构成专有名词:the West Lake西湖

不用寇词的场合

特定名词前:the Spring(x)

 

in the front of(内部):在...前面,前部

in front of(外部)
