英语考研——强调句

强调句分类：A类.强调谓语动词。B类.强调主语，宾语，状语（地点，时间）
（1）强调结构：A类结构：do/does/did+谓语动词{原形}
举例：Mobile payment offers great convenient to us.移动支付给我们提供很大的便利。
谓语动词：offers。 变强调句：does offer
翻译方法：‘的确’ ‘确实’+谓语动词。
举例：…they do seem to be influenced by a company’s record in CSR.
他们的确似乎是被一个公司在CSR上的记录影像。
But science does provide us with the best available guide to the future…但是科学的确给我们提供了对于未来最好和有用的指导。
B类结构：It is /was +被强调的部分+that/who+…
I ate fried chicken at People’s Square yesterday.
强调主语：It was I who ate fried chicken at People’s Square yesterday.
强调宾语：It was fried chicken that I ate at People’s Square yesterday.
强调时间状语：It was yesterday that I ate fried chicken at People’s Square.
强调地点状语：It was at People’s Square that I ate fried chicken yesterday.
翻译方法：1，去框架。
2.被强调部分前加 就是 正是 才是。
3，若被强调部分含有only not until等，翻译时不需要加词。
例如：It is only when one is ill that he will realize the significance of health.
只有当人们生病的时候，他们才意识到健康的重要性。
It was I who ate fried chicken at People’s Square yesterday.在人民广场吃着炸鸡的人就是我。
It was fried chicken that I ate at People’s Square yesterday。我昨天在人民广场上吃的就是炸鸡。
It was yesterday that I ate fried chicken at People’s Square。就是昨天我在人民广场上吃的炸鸡。
It was at People’s Square that I ate fried chicken yesterday.我昨天就是在人民广场上吃着炸鸡。
（2）真题例句：
It is they, not American,who have become anti-intellectual.正是他们，而不是美国人，已经变成了反智主义。
…it was not until the 19th century that the newspaper became the dominant pre-electronic medium…直到19世纪，报纸才成为前电子时代的主流媒体。
…it is the intellectuals who have rejected American.正是这些学者拒绝了美国人。
Perhaps it is humankind’s long suffering at the mercy of flood and drought that makes the ideal of forcing the waters to do our bidding so fascinating.
at the mercy of…受到…的支配
可能是人类长期以来受洪水和干旱所支配的灾难使得操控水的理想是如此的令人着迷。
（3）和主语从句的区别：主语从句：it is +adj.+that+svo. 强调句：it is +强调+that…
分辨方法：去掉it is that 看是否是一个完整的句子。
（4）强调结构在写作中的用法：家长才是最好的老师
It is parents that are the best teachers.
孩子们应该被教育提高自我独立意识。
It is children that should be educated to enhance their consciousness of independence.
